Thanks for being willing to coach! The backbone of SOAR is our group of fine coaches. We all commit to
the same goals, and this keeps our great league on track. SOAR goes beyond just competing, to

- We are part of a local church that holds us accountable to live according to God’s word
God’s Worship, as a coach:
- We want to worship and lead others to worship, Jesus Christ
- We see our coaching as an act of worship for God
- We encourage our team to prioritize the worship of God over other commitments (including
sports and winning games)
God’s Work, as a coach:
- We model submission to authority by honoring the decisions, requests, and rulings of SOAR
leadership and referees.
- We regard fellow coaches and parents as partners with me in this work.
- We pursue excellence in coaching and encourage our team to the same.
- We seek to handle conflict according to Math 18: a. attempting private one-to-one
